Hot weather is upon us so make sure that you have water bottle cages on your bike and enough water for your trip. You can purchase a hydropak or a camelbak to carry water on your back. If you are going on a ride longer than 60 km in high temperatures make sure that you have gatorade or powerade with you to replace electrolytes lost with your perspiration. If your legs are prone to cramping then carry a couple of bananas with you, the potassium is good for you. Happy Canada Day and enjoy your cycling! | |
