Pedal selection is, like most bike- related topics, a matter of personal preference and budget.

Some cyclists will always be more comfortable using a flat pedal (with great variety available based on the type of cycling you will do).  That said, most cycling enthusiasts are more likely to choose either pedals with toe clips and straps or clipless pedals, that combine a use-specific pedal with a cleat, that is attached to the cycling shoes.  For professionals and enthusiasts, this last style (clipless) is always preferred since performance on the bike is improved by their use.

Newbies to the joys of cycling can initially be intimidated by the idea of being "locked" into position on a bike, but the benefits of fit and performance generally out way those concerns and it's a short lived worry that a few rides will dissipate.  Happy Cycling!

Sometimes things don't work the way you want. We don't like that so we try to fix it.  A basic adult bike tune up is $45.99 and a single speed or children's bike tune up starts at $25.99. We cover the manufacturer's warranty on all our products.

Also we completely tune, sharpen, and wax downhill skis and snowboards for a labor charge of $29.99 + tax.

XC Ski Wax labour is $20.00 + tax per pair.

Installation of Bindings on XC Skis is $15.00 + tax.

Cutting poles is $15.00 + tax.

Professional Bike Fit

If you are looking for a professional fit for you and your bike, call (506) 640-0777. Arrange a fit with Bill or Peter who has completed their Specialized fit course. Allow for 2 hours and there will be a charge for this service, but the fit is free if you buy your bike from us.

Skate Sharpening

We have a great Cag 1 skate sharpening machine that does an excellent job and it is only $6.00 taxes included.  You can purchase a skate sharpening card for $25.00 and get 5 sharpenings for $5.00 each instead of $6.00 each.
